About me
I’ve been designing since I was a kid, when I was obsessed with trying to make cute graphics for Neopets. That early obsession never really stopped, it just grew up with me. Over the past decade I’ve built a career around graphic design and marketing, working on everything from social content and presentation decks to sales materials and campaign assets.
I recently moved to the Portland area, and the change has been good for me. I’m still settling in, but being surrounded by trees and slower days has helped me reconnect with why I like doing creative work in the first place.
What I Do Best
I’m at my best when I’m creating marketing visuals that need to be clear, modern, and tied to a purpose. I’ve done a lot of social content, B2B presentation decks, sales support materials, and general creative for teams that need someone who can switch tasks easily.
I pick up brand voice quickly and I’m good at figuring out what a customer needs to see or understand before taking action. I enjoy improving existing materials, cleaning up confusing diagrams, and organizing content so it actually helps someone make a decision.
How I Work
People count on me to keep projects on track. I plan ahead, produce consistent content, and make sure brand standards stay steady across whatever I’m working on. I keep files organized, communicate clearly, and ask the right questions early so timelines don’t slip.
I work best with teams that communicate openly and set clear priorities. When I know the goal and the audience, I can create steady, effective design work that fits into the larger strategy.
Why I Care About This Work
Design is often treated like decoration, but I prefer when design supports a goal. Good design is when it helps someone understand something faster, when it makes a brand feel more consistent, or when it gives salespeople what they need to close a conversation.
In my last long-term role, I discovered how much I enjoy connecting creative work with results. Seeing technical content become clear, seeing a deck help someone explain a product better, or seeing a campaign perform well. It makes the work feel useful.
Personal Interests
When I’m not designing, I’m usually making something with my hands, messing around with ceramics, or picking up a new game. Travel is a big part of my life too; I’ve visited eighteen countries and hope to keep going. Exploring new places has always helped me stay curious and brings in fresh perspective to everything I work on.
